Abdul Kalam Technical University which was formerly known as Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UTPU) have announced the admission for the state Engineering entrance exam (UPSEE) 2019. The applicants who are interested for appearing in the examination can simply apply online on the official website. The application for the admission began on 23/01/2019. The applicants are required to fill the form by 15/03/2019 by 5 pm.

- B.Tech- Candidates who have passed or appearing in the 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as a compulsory subject with minimum 45% marks. For SCand ST candidates minimum marks should be 40%.
- B.Tech Bio-Technology- The candidates should be 10+2 examination passed with Physics, Maths or Bio as the compulsory subject. The passing marks of the candidates should be 45% minimum. For the SC, ST candidates it is 40%.
- B. Tech Agriculture- To be eligible for the course, the candidates should have passed the 10+2 exams with Agriculture stream. The passing marks of the candidates should be 45 % minimum. The passing Marks is 40% for SC, ST candidates.
For other courses, eligibility criteria is mentioned in the notification issued by the Abdul Kalaam Technical University.

To apply for these courses, candidates would have to visit the official website http://upsee.nic.in/publicinfo/public/home.aspx. On the homepage, candidates can find the form link in the notification bar. The candidates would have to click o the link and fill the form.
The General and OBC candidates are required to pay a sum of 1300/- as the fees of the exam. For SC/ST candidates it is 650/-. The university has also kept the application fee of 650/- for all women applying for the course irrespective of the categories they belong to.
