Union Public Service Commission UPSC had invited applicants to apply for the combined defense service First Examination 2019. The candidates were required to apply on the official website of UPSC. The UPSC had also issued the notification regarding the posts. All the details of the posts were available in the notification issued on the site. The applications began on 31/10/2018. The last date to apply for the examination was 26/11/2018. The last date to pay the exam fee is 26/11/2018. The exam date was 03/02/2019. The admit cards for the exam were available from 11/01/2019. The result will get declared on 09/04/2019.
For Indian Military Academy (IMA) candidates are required to have passed/appearing the Bachelor degree in any stream from any recognized university of India. For Indian Naval Academy, the candidates should have passed/appearing in bachelor degree of engineering from any recognised university of India. For Air Force, candidates should have bachelor degree in any stream with physics and mathematics in 10+2 level or bachelor degree in engineering stream. The age eligibility was mentioned in the notification issued on the official website. The general and OBC candidates were required to pay 200/- as the application fee. The other category candidates were exempted from the exam fee.
How to check UPSC CDS I Results 2019?
The candidates are required to visit the official website of UPSC http://upsc.gov.in/ to check results. After opening the site, the candidates will need to login into the website using the registration number and the password. Once logged in they would need to view the result. They will be required to download the result from the website. After downloading the card it is recommended to take a print of the result to use it in future.
