The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment & Promotion Board (PRPB) declared vacancies for 34716 post for both Male and Female candidates on 29/12/2015. The candidates were required to fill-up their respective application forms and register before 17/02/2016 in the case of male candidates and 24/02/2016 for female candidates. The candidates were also made to pay Rs.200 as application fee which the last date was 19/02/2016 for male and 26/02/2016 for female. As per submission of the complete form, male candidates had to submit their complete forms before 22/02/2016 and female candidates before 29/02/2016. Admit cards for male candidates were available from 29/07/2016 to 24/09/2016. As for female candidates, the availability of admit cards were from 19/07/2016 to 25/07/2016.
Passing 10+2 from any recognized board was the minimum education qualification required for the vacant post. However, in terms of physical eligibility male candidates had to run 4.8 Kilometres in 27 minutes with Gen/OBC/ SC males having a minimum height of 168 cm and Chest of 79cm to 84 cm and ST male candidates having a minimum height of 160 cm wit Chest of 77 cm to 82 cm. As for female candidates, the running requirement was of 2.4 kilometers in 16 minutes with Gen/OBC/SC candidates having a height of 152 cm and ST candidates having a height of 147 cm.

- After reaching the page, candidates must fill up their details which include, Registration number, DOB and Gender to get their results.

- The results given are in accordance to merit list and candidates can check their marks for future reference.
